Brazilian-Spanish cinematographer and photographer that is best known for his work on the TV Docudrama Lost Legacy Reclaimed that won best Documentary at the Wales International Film Festival in 2019. His most recent project Hermana (Sister) premiered at the Medina del Campo Film Festival in March 2020 and has been praised for its evocative visual aesthetic.

Junior also works commercially as a photographer and recently traveled to Brazil as lead photographer with American Airlines Cargo. In 2019 Junior relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and collaborated as DP on several projects including the dark comedy Wrong Number Ransom and Beyond Words, a short illustrated poem that explores the nature of emotions. Junior’s diverse background has given him a unique sensitivity toward story and character which translates visually through his intimate framing and graceful camera movement. Junior is drawn to stories that explore the deeper questions of life and sees cinema as a medium in which to better understand ourselves and the world around us.
